QUP Award of Distinction Winners
Announcing the 2008 QUP Award of Distinction winners:
- Sean Murphy, University College Dublin, for his work entitled "Development of an IEEE 802.16j Simulation Model for QualNet"
- Giovanni Pau, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), for work entitled "Vehicle Networks with Opportunistic Infrastructure and Realistic Mobility Models in QualNet"
These two individuals are being awarded this honor for their innovative work with QualNet. Come learn more about their work at QualNet World, November 19-21, 2008 in San Diego, California.
About the QUP Award of Distinction
Graduate students who are currently members of the QualNet University Program (QUP) were invited to apply for QUP Awards of Distinction. If you are doing interesting, innovative work with QualNet, you are eligible. Awards will be handed out at QualNet World 2008 in San Diego, California. Recipients must be there to accept the award.
How to Enter: The submission deadline has passed.
Awards will be presented at the QualNet World Dinner Banquet on Wednesday, November 19th, 2008. Winners must present their research at QualNet World 2008 on Thursday November 20th in a panel discussion.
Prize: A cash prize of $300 will be awarded to each QUP Award of Distinction recipient. Also included is free admission to QualNet World 2008, a gathering of the world’s leading QualNet users and industry leaders in the field of network modeling, simulation and emulation. This is a great opportunity to network with members of the QualNet community from major aerospace and defense contractors, the US Department of Defense, mobile network operators, and research agencies.
