How do I troubleshoot problems in using the Internet Gateway feature?
Article Check the EXata User’s Guide (section 5.4) for the exact details on using the Internet Gateway feature.
Two basic requirements for setting up Internet Gateway:
A. Two Interfaces on EXata Machine
The EXata computer must have two network interfaces (cards). One interface for connecting to the computers (operational hosts) that will send traffic over the EXata network. The second interface must have connectivity to the Internet or data network that you are trying to use.

B. Enable Firewall
The EXata computer must have a firewall running on it and the EXata backend program (exata.exe) must be added to the firewall’s exceptions list.

C. DNS Server
The DNS server information from the Internet connected interface of the EXata computer must be copied on to each operational host computer connected to the EXata computer. For more details see the DNS related steps in section 5.4 of the EXata User’s Guide.
