Culver City, CA — SCALABLE Network Technologies, Inc. (SCALABLE),the leader in network virtualization technology for planning, testing and training, announced today that Jim Zierick has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Zierick will lead the expansion of SCALABLE’s technology for increasing performance, availability and cyber resiliency in mission-critical mobile wireless military networks into the commercial enterprise marketplace. With over 30 years of experience in operating and growing technology companies providing enterprise-class products, he has a successful track record of recognizing emerging market trends and responding with highly competitive solutions.
Wireless connectivity has moved from being simply a convenient infrastructure alternative in the enterprise to being a business imperative for real-time access to voice, video and data by highly mobile personnel and customers. Healthcare facilities, financial trading environments, mass transit systems and many other business segments now rely heavily on wireless communications. Critical infrastructure and industrial operations depend on uninterrupted access to sensor data and distributed control systems. I see tremendous opportunities in leveraging SCALABLE’s outstanding technology into both our current military markets and exciting new business areas.
Jim Zierick, SCALABLE CEO
We are extremely pleased to have found a leader of Jim’s caliber to help us manage the next phase of SCALABLE’s growth. Over 14 years ago, DARPA recognized the importance of high performance wireless for the tactical battlefield and supported the transition of our core technology out of the research lab and into the field. While we will continue to deliver innovative solutions to our government customers, taking the next step into business-critical environments is a natural evolution of our expertise.
