(SCALABLE), a leader in wireless network design and optimization tools, announced today that Dr. Rajive Bagrodia, SCALABLE CEO and Founder, will be presenting “FINS: Forward Deployed Energy and Communication Outpost (FDECO) Integrated Network Simulator” on 24 October at MILCOM in Baltimore, MD. This presentation highlights a new high-fidelity emulation technology focused on implementing underwater communications modeling to enable analysis and assessment of network performance and resiliency. As part of our continued commitment to the defense community, SCALABLE team members will be on-site and exhibiting during the show to further support our new capabilities while showing our software in action.
SCALABLE will be showing live demonstrations featuring a variety of our cutting-edge software solutions using our modeling and simulation tools in Booth 1024. We will show how our EXata simulation software, is used for evaluating battlefield and critical infrastructure network environments resiliency to cyber-attacks, including our new cyber-physical integrated solution with OPAL-RT power simulators. In addition, SCALABLE will demonstrate our Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) modeling capabilities which support at-scale network simulation in an operational context and test the communications among underwater unmanned vehicles (UUVs), outposts, and the commanders responsible for theater-level operations.

About Dr. Rajive Bagrodia
Dr. Rajive Bagrodia is the founder of SCALABLE Network Technologies, Inc. and an Emeritus Professor of Computer Science at UCLA. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Bagrodia has published over 150 research papers in refereed journals and international conferences on high performance computing and communication. At SCALABLE, Dr. Bagrodia initiated the design and development of the Communication Effects Server (CES) for the Future Combat System Program. The contribution of the CES in advancing the modeling and simulation of DOD communication systems was recognized by an Army M&S Award in the Acquisition category.
